Project Overview:

Amani Residence began with a clear challenge: transforming a structurally sound but emotionally flat space into a home that felt lived-in, personal, and deeply connected to its occupants. The existing layout lacked flow, with disconnected zones that limited natural movement and reduced the impact of light throughout the interior. The objective was not just to redesign the space, but to redefine how it was experienced on a daily basis.

The approach focused on creating continuity. Walls were re-evaluated, transitions were softened, and spatial relationships were carefully adjusted to allow each area to connect seamlessly. Natural light became a central design driver, guiding the placement of materials, finishes, and textures. A restrained palette of warm neutrals, soft woods, and subtle contrasts was introduced to create depth without visual noise.

Attention to detail played a critical role. Storage was integrated into the architecture, furniture was selected to complement proportion and scale, and every element was positioned with intention. Rather than over-designing, the process emphasized clarity—allowing the space to feel open, breathable, and calm.
