Hospitality
A boutique hotel interior that blends cultural richness with contemporary comfort.
Project Overview:
Duniya Boutique Hotel required a balance between cultural expression and modern hospitality standards. The challenge was to create a space that felt authentic and rooted, while still delivering the comfort and refinement expected by a global audience. The risk was either leaning too heavily into tradition or losing identity entirely.
The approach focused on integration. Cultural elements were not treated as decoration, but as part of the spatial narrative. Materials, patterns, and textures were carefully selected to reflect local craftsmanship, while being adapted into a contemporary context.
Consistency across spaces was essential. Each room was designed to feel connected to the overall identity, yet distinct enough to offer a unique experience. Public areas were structured to encourage movement and interaction, while maintaining a sense of calm and order.
Attention was given to atmosphere—how lighting, scale, and materiality interact to shape perception. The design avoided excess, allowing each element to contribute meaningfully to the overall experience.
The result is a hotel that feels both familiar and elevated. A space that resonates with its cultural context while offering a refined, comfortable stay—designed to leave a lasting impression.
